Workshops overview/Entrepreneurship/Pitching to investors

Pitching to Investors

Almost every important deal ultimately comes down to a presentation. The presentation is where you make the sale and you only have one chance to get it right. The audience for your presentation ultimately decides, but you can make the difference by delivering an effective presentation. Unfortunately, many presentations, both written and verbal, are much less effective than they could be.

This workshop will enable participants to create and deliver effective presentations, through a combination of theory, case studies, and hands-on presentation exercises. Participants in this workshop will create and deliver several presentations during the workshop and receive intensive feedback.

Investors often evaluate presentations using a system of "red flags" or warning signs that the presenting company is not a viable investment. This workshop will cover these red flags in detail to help presenters avoid them.

The workshop will give entrepreneurs a framework which they can adapt to their business idea to structure their presentation in a way that is most effective for investors.
